The Goal setting lets you decide what KPI's you want to track in your experiment. In other words, what you want to measure that states if the test is a success or not. For example, completed orders if you run an e-commerce or click on a submit button if you have a content-based website.
Goals are triggered when the visitor fulfills a specified promise/action on the website. These are set up by adding statements that must be true for the goal to register.
NOTICE:
- Goals are triggered only after the Audience has been TRUE for the visitor.
- The Goal does not need to be set on the page where you do your changes. In other words, the goal can be triggered on a page where Audience is FALSE, but only if the visitor has fulfilled the Audience statements before that.
